How to fix a slightly larger portion of carpet

My completely innocent pup (yeah right) decided to chew up a bit of the carpet in front of our master bedroom and subsequently tugged on it untucking it from the wall. There is only a portion of the carpet that is unsalvageable, but as we all know nothing is ever easy and replacing just that little bit is never enough. So, I am ready with some padding, carpet, carpet tape, and a tucking tool to make everything all better. This should be interesting…

Roomba woes…

Our roomba decided to take a @#%$ the other day (alright, maybe a couple weeks back, but who’s counting…) and was performing what I think was aptly named, “The Circle Dance”. I suppose that any of the reasons you can find on the net are viable, but in my case it was simple and one of the primary drive belts had busted. Thanks go to the following site for great instructions on how to disassemble the beast http://mysteryroad.blogs.com/photos/fixthecircledance/xintroroomba_3549.html and http://www.theroombashop.com for having the belt that I needed!

Piroshki Piroshki

Right, so after venturing into the light drizzle of rain in the waning light of the Seattle sunset and walking nearly 12 blocks to taste what has been described as the most delectable piroshki I was disappointed to find that Piroshki Piroshki closes at 6pm. Glancing down at my watch and then shaking my head remembering that the battery died before moving to my phone only to see the digital display change from 6:04 to 6:05… Is there no justice! All I can do at this point is reflect on my day to try and find where I went wrong that karma would screw me like this… C’est la vie!

NextGen Gallery first go around…

Well, yet again someone has made something awesome and so easy to use that it took me 30 mins to realize I was being an idiot and the functionality was in my face on how to add a photo using nextgen to a pose. That would be use, “Add media” buttons of course…

Save the Date proofs!

Erin and I have received the proof for our Save the Date magnets. After much deliberation we decided to go with the calla lily and no photo.
